Mindfulness Therapy – A New Twist on Ecotherapy?

Caroline Brazier is an Australian actor who has, over the past few years, been nominated for three Golden Globes including Best Actress in a Leading Role. She has also appeared in movies such as Crazy Heart, Cleopatra and Everybody Loves Raymond. Now, she is set to star in the upcoming movie adaptation of Dune the Space Opera. This will be her second film in the franchise. Here is some insight into her life and career.

 

Born in Carlton, Victoria, Australia, Carol Brazier grew up with two younger sisters. Her younger sister Betti played the piano while Carol pursued a career in acting, partaking in minor parts in movies and on television, before finding success in network theatre. She studied the nature-based practice of Ayurveda in Melbourne, which focuses on nutrition and lifestyle. She then began a course of study at the University of Melbourne focusing on ecotherapy, which deals with recovering from addiction to alcohol and drugs.

 

After completing her undergraduate degree, Carol began working on her first post-graduate acting job, appearing in a 2006 film called Invictus. The film role enabled Carol to develop her acting skills, which have seen her gain various degrees of success in both theatre and film. Later that same year, she landed a recurring role in the critically acclaimed film Finding Nemo, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. After that film came the even more successful Alice in Wonderland, which earned Carol additional awards for her performances as the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter. It was during the latter period of her career that Carol would develop into a more serious relationship with Ayurveda, learning that this type of practice had a valuable role to play in both her professional and personal life.

 

Now, Carol has established a superb body of work, and in the TV show she is starring in, she has finally achieved the achievement of accredited actor in her own right. As a result, Carol has also landed some smaller roles, but she is best known to audiences as the voice of the character voiced by Patrick Swayze in the film; Swayze’s distinctive voice has made him a superstar over the last few years. It was also very recently announced that Carol will be returning to the big screen once again, playing the lead role in the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster, Pandora. It will be interesting to see whether or not Carol will manage to achieve the same level of fame that she enjoys now, but it is safe to say that she has already managed to gain quite a substantial amount of fans over the past few years.

 

So, what have been some of the other notable roles that Carol has played? She has been recognized as the cynical and sultry character Mother Nature in the award winning 2003 movie Finding Nemo, which was one of the highest grossing movies of all time at the time. She also appeared in the television series Kung Fu Panda as well as the 2005 movie Bridesmaids. Carol’s most recent major role was in the 2007 movie adaptation of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery, A Dark Secret.

 

What about Carol duvall? You may not have heard of her, but Carol Duvall is an incredibly accomplished Australian actor who has had an incredibly varied career. She began as an actress with numerous smaller roles before developing a successful stage career that would span over 20 years. In addition to her stage career, Carol has also appeared in a number of high profile films including the Harry Potter movie, Alice in Wonderland, Eat Pray Love, and Everybody Wants Some Love. She has also won a number of awards for her acting skills, most notably an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Carol Duvall is simply a fantastic actor, and if you are looking for a role that is completely different from what you are used to seeing from your favorite actresses, then you should definitely look towards watching Carol Duvall.

 

Another amazing achievement of Carol Duvall is that she has gone on to become an active advocate for a variety of issues concerning health, consciousness, and spirituality. She has spoken extensively about her experiences in Buddhist meditation, yoga, and mindfulness, and has dedicated a portion of her book, Hands Into Places, to discussing the importance of being mindful during psychotherapy sessions.
